WapsiFrozen account help
Wapsi never calls you, never asks for your OTP, PIN or password, and never collects money to "recover" your funds. Government complaint processes are free.

Your account is blocked, and nobody told you why

If a payment you received was later traced to a cyber-fraud complaint, your bank can hold the money or stop your account before anyone speaks to you. There is an official route out of it, with deadlines that apply to the bank and the police, not to you. Wapsi shows you which route is yours, and counts the days.

Free. No sign-up. Nothing you type leaves your phone.

Wapsi

An independent self-help portal. Not a law firm, not a government body.

Three different things are called “freezing”

Which one happened to you decides what you ask for, and who decides it.

An amount is on hold

The rest of your balance still works. The bank has marked a lien to the extent of the amount reported in the complaint.

Digital banking is suspended

UPI, net banking, IMPS, ATM and cards stop. Counter transactions at the branch still work. This needs a police direction.

The account is seized

Nothing works. A seizure requires an FIR or e-FIR behind it, and carries one extra level of appeal.

What Wapsi actually does

Works out your route

Eight questions, no personal details, and you see which paragraph of the official procedure applies to you and what to ask for.

Prepares your letters

Ready to print, in Hindi or English, quoting the right paragraph and the right deadline. Your account number is never printed — you write it by hand.

Counts the days for you

Day 7 for the bank to upload. Day 15 for the officer. Day 90 for the hold. Miss those and the delay becomes yours.

Be realistic about this

Wapsi cannot get your account released. Banks, investigating officers and courts decide that, and none of them is obliged to agree with you. What this site does is make sure your case is put properly, to the right person, in time, with the right document attached — which is the part people usually get wrong.

Between April 2021 and November 2025 the system held Rs 7,647 crore and returned Rs 167 crore of it. Money moves into that system quickly and out of it slowly. A well-prepared file will not change that, but a badly prepared one guarantees months of delay.
