Privacy
Your case details never leave your device. The answers you give in the check, and the details you type into a letter, are processed inside your own browser and are not sent to any server.
What we deliberately do not collect
- Your full bank account number. Letters print a blank line for you to fill in by hand.
- Your PAN, Aadhaar or any identity document, or a scan of one.
- Any OTP, PIN, password or banking credential. We will never ask for these.
- Your written statement of facts.
What is stored, and where
If you use the deadline tracker, the dates you enter are saved in your own browser's local storage on that device, so that the timeline is still there when you come back. Nobody else can read it, and we cannot read it. Clearing it deletes it permanently. Use the “Delete my saved dates” button on the tracker, or clear your browser data.

If you write to us by email, we hold that message so we can reply. We do not add you to any mailing list and we do not sell or share anything.
Data protection law
India's Digital Personal Data Protection Act and the DPDP Rules 2025 apply on a phased timeline, with core obligations for data fiduciaries enforceable from 13 May 2027. Wapsi is built on the principle of collecting as little as possible, which is the simplest way to meet those obligations.
Your rights
Because we hold almost nothing, there is usually nothing to request or erase. If you have written to us and want that correspondence deleted, ask and it will be deleted.
